Experience:
B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering / Textile Engineering / Garment Engineering or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in the IE department of a denim garments factory.
Must have experience of working on Denim bottom & Top manufacturing organization preferably Sewing, Finishing, Cutting & Sample IE.
Residence: Preferably in Gazipur.
Track daily efficiency, manpower productivity, and line balancing reports.
Prepare and present weekly/monthly performance analyses with improvement recommendations.
Coordinate with Planning, Production, and Quality teams for continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of denim garment manufacturing processes (sewing, washing, finishing).
Proficiency in Time Study, Method Study, Line Balancing, SMV calculation.
Hands-on experience with GSD/Pro SMV software (preferred).
Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Good communication and leadership abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Work Measurement principles.

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct time & motion studies to establish standard minute values (SMV) for all denim sewing operations.
Analyze line performance and identify bottlenecks to improve line balancing and throughput.
Implement work aids, attachments, and methods improvement to enhance operator efficiency.
Prepare operation breakdown (OB) and machine layout for new styles.
Monitor daily production efficiency and report variance against target.
Work closely with production supervisors to ensure adherence to planned productivity and methods.
Measure and analyze finishing process cycle times (trimming, washing, pressing, packing).
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce non-productive time.
Support the finishing team in setting up standard working procedures (SOPs) for consistency and quality.
Evaluate manpower requirement and ensure optimum allocation.
Study and establish SMVs for cutting operations (spreading, cutting, bundling, numbering, etc.).
Optimize fabric utilization and marker efficiency with the cutting team.
Develop standard layout and workflow to minimize handling and idle time.
Support automation or semi-automation initiatives in cutting (e.g., CAD/CAM, auto spreader, auto cutter).
Conduct time studies on new styles and samples to estimate SMV for costing and planning.
Support sampling team in determining best method and machine requirement.
Provide feedback on construction feasibility and suggest design or method simplifications for bulk production.
Maintain an updated SMV database for all denim styles and operations.
Perform any other task as assigned by the superior.
