Responsibilities & Context:
Alfamart, a leading international convenience store chain and one of the largest in its home country, is entering the Bangladesh retail market through a joint venture with Kazi Farms Limited under the name Alfamart Trading Bangladesh. With an ambitious vision to set new benchmarks in retail customer experience, the project is currently in its pre-opening phase. To be part of this exciting journey, we are seeking a competent Executive/Sr. Executive, Finance, to oversee and coordinate financial operations in close collaboration with both the international project team and local stakeholders.
Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely collection, validation, and reporting of financial data from all branches. This position supports regional finance by providing high-quality data, identifying process inefficiencies, and driving continuous improvements to enhance financial reporting productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and validate financial data collection from all branches in line with company standards.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly branch performance reports to support management decisions.
Provide complete and reliable financial data to Regional Finance and assist in resolving discrepancies.
Identify process gaps in data collection and recommend or implement improvements.
Support branch transaction uploads and the implementation of real-time financial reporting systems.
Review and approve internet banking transactions for branch operational expenditures.
