The person will be required to successfully carry out the Social Compliance as well as Planning related functions of a number of Garments manufacturing factories of a well known reputed Group of companies and garment manufacturing facilities . The incumbent should have hands-on experience in the following functions:
Prepare/upkeep/ develop various factories (engaged in the production of RMGs) in accordance with the customers’/Local Law’s/ILO’s as well as company’s requirements.
Being physically available as a facilitator during the Social Compliance and C-TPAT audits conducted at the factories by the world renowned buyers and their nominated representatives.
Taking the overall responsibilities of the social compliance issues at all the industries.
Ensure that the social compliance audits done at the factories are come out as successful ones.
Supervise and monitor all compliance functions done at the factories.
Periodically conduct compliance audits at factories to assess where the factory stands, identify areas to improvement/non-compliant issues, recommend/ assist in rectification and follow up to check if the implementation and correction is done in due time.
Keeping in continuous touch with the key P & A personnel at the factories end regarding the Social Compliance/ CTPAT issues.
Maintaining constant rapport with the buyers and feed their requirements on day to day basis, delivering Corrective Actions Plans and explanations (if any) etc.
Monitoring the day to day compliance functions and supervise the officers & staffs involved.
Supervise, Monitor & Undertake Industrial Safety, Health, Hygiene, Ergonomics, Social Awareness, Workers’ Rights other related trainings. Implement company’s policy and procedures under his functional area in every possible way.
Represent company on various issues and communicate with the Ministry of Labour, BTMA, BKMEA, BEPZA, Labour Court, Customers and their representatives etc.
Review and update company’s policy and procedures (related to Social Compliance and C-TPAT issues) in line with the changing needs.
