• A clear idea about aseptic handling of microorganisms

• Experience in the isolation and identification of microorganisms

• Experience in chemical and biochemical analysis

• The ability to take responsibility and work independently

• The ability to work in a team

• M.S (thesis) with good academic records

• Knowledge about agriculture, bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, and soil, plant and microbe interactions

• Experience in setting up field experiments, data collection and analysis

• Experience in evaluation of microbial fertilizers and pesticides in farmer’s field

• Clear concept of plant physiology

• Experience in the development of formulations of biofertilizers and biopesticides

• Knowledge of molecular biology related to plants and microorganisms

• Experience in writing research protocols

• May need to conduct field trials anywhere in Bangladesh

University degree from a reputed public or private university in any of the above disciplines. Candidate must be strongly interested in laboratory, and field research. Candidate must be sincere and willing to work beyond set hours when necessary. Candidate must be willing to go anywhere in Bangladesh when required.

• Sample collection for microbial strain isolation
