Bsc in Textiles

• Production Monitoring: The production planner always prepares the plans, Monitors, and production schedules for the manufacture of Knit garments products

• Production Scheduling: Creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders.

• Raw Material Planning: Estimating material requirements and coordinating with merchandising to ensure the availability of raw materials on time according to the order sheet.

• Capacity Planning: A production planner assesses production capacity and adjusts schedules as needed to meet demand. Understanding capacity product by product maximizes proper utilization.

• Quality Control: Monitoring daily production output, and production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize defects.

• Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels to optimize efficiency and minimize excess stock, reducing WIP levels as low as possible to increase efficiency.

• Communication: Keep communication with relevant departments, including design, procurement, and manufacturing, to coordinate production activities.

• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the production process, such as delays or quality concerns, and taking the lead to resolve.

• Cost Management: Optimizing production processes to minimize costs while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Garment costing is the heart of this business. So cost analysis must be accurate.

• Data Analysis: Analyzing production data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and make informed decisions.

• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding production processes and product safety.

• On-time Delivery: This is the thing that comes first in the mind of a production planner, keep in mind to complete production.
