  • Familiarity with 3M product portfolio will be an advantage.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into customer benefits.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Strong relationship-building and client servicing ability.

  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.



Responsibilities & Context:

The Executive – Modern Trade is responsible for driving revenue growth and market penetration of 3M Building Films (Architectural, Sun Control, Safety & Security Films) and 3M Automotive Products (Car Care, Paint Protection, Detailing Solutions) across modern trade channels. The role focuses on business development, key account management, retail execution, and ensuring optimal product visibility and availability in both B2B and B2C segments.

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets within modern trade channels.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence.

  • Secure new product listings and drive portfolio expansion across key accounts.

  • Develop business with key retail chains (e.g., supermarkets, chain stores, Wholesale market).

  • Maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers and store managers.

  • Negotiate pricing, promotions and display agreements.

  • Ensure proper shelf placement, visibility, and stock availability.

  • Track stock levels at stores and warehouse.

  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts and performance analysis.

  • Track KPIs like sell-in, sell-out, and return on promotion.

  • Ensure proper invoicing, agreements, and trade terms.

  • Handle claims, deductions, and reconciliation with accounts.
