Data Analysis, Operations, Planning and Designing, Product Pricing, Scheduling
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Airline, Group of Companies, Travel Agent
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Creates and analyzes seasonal block times for existing and new routes
∎ Create and load block times into flight scheduling software and perform scenario analyses based on a statistical analysis of flight history to ensure prediction of future flight block times
∎ Generate and communicate reporting findings to internal and external partners to improve flight schedules and provide scheduling information
∎ Create new reports and processes that improve scheduling efficiency
∎ Act as a resource when schedule questions arise
∎ Maintain documentation regarding minimum connect times, ground times, airport and route-specific constraints and maintenance parameters.
∎ Develop pricing strategy and price points for markets, including offline and code-share routes
∎ Monitor and implement an appropriate response to maintain competitive position in the marketplace
∎ Identify need for pricing actions based on booking trends and ticketing information
∎ Analyze revenue performance, market share, capacity, and competitor activity for assigned markets and create market strategies that support delivery of revenue targets
∎ Interact as necessary with multiple constituents to actively achieve commercial goals: Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, Reservations and Alliances
∎ Awareness of market and industry trends in relation to distribution partners and opportunities or challenges each partner.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of distinct differences in distribution channels and how these differences influence pricing decisions
∎ Experience in analysis and reporting, preferably in revenue management, pricing or related areas
∎ Ability to independently identify problem areas or revenue opportunities and generate quick, solid directional analysis for department leadership
∎ Ability to work in cross functional teams, maintain and manage relationships with internal/external constituencies
∎ Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
∎ Strong initiative and excellent communication skills
∎ Experience in airline revenue management and/or pricing
∎ Experience working with data to perform complex analysis
