Responsibilities & Context:
Source and procure goods and services required by the organization.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, and selection.
Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
Negotiate terms of agreements, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary materials and supplies.
Conduct regular inventory audits to manage stock levels and minimize waste.
Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services.
Develop and manage the procurement budget.
Analyze and forecast costs, negotiate contracts, and implement cost-saving measures.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate potential risks in the procurement process.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
Work closely with other departments such as finance, operations, and logistics to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
Coordinate with the finance team to manage payments and resolve billing issues.
