Ensure planning aligns with buyer compliance and shipment requirements.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
Contribute ideas for improving line balancing and reducing idle time.
Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare line-wise capacity plans based on buyer orders, style complexity, and SMV (Standard Minute Value).
Allocate styles to lines considering manpower, machine layout, and skill requirements.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets vs. actual performance.
Assist Planning Manager in preparing Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Adjust plans based on urgent orders, delays, or any changes.
Collect order details (style, fabric, trims, delivery date, quantity) from Merchandising team.
Communicate order requirements with Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Quality departments.
Track material availability (fabric, trims) and flag shortages to Supply Chain.
Ensure production starts on time to meet shipment deadlines.
Track cutting to finishing process flow and update status daily.
Work closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, IE (Industrial Engineering), and Production teams.
Monitor bottlenecks in lines and take proactive measures for improvement.
