Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish material delivery planning/ procedures to ensure availability of required import materials in time.
∎ Ensure L/C, LCAF, TT establishment fulfilling of all legal requirements.
∎ Monitor shipment or coordinate with suppliers, shipping line, forwarder and inspection company if need for on timely delivery of import consignments.
∎ Ensure safe transportation of goods from ports to factories.
∎ Ensure effective handling of customs & clearance issues at competitive cost.
∎ Ensure proper selection of HS code for easy clearance from custom to save additional duties.
∎ Assist Manager Procurement in establishing, review and update policies/ procedure for material procurement as per ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 guideline and requirement.
∎ Knowledge enhance Bangladesh Custom tariff & Explanatory notes.
∎ Develop team members
∎ Ensure continual improvement of self and development of work process/system.
