∎ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)/ B.Sc. in Animal Husbandry.
∎ MS in pathology will be treated as additional advantage.

Animal/Plant Breeding
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Effectively manage the overall operations breeder farm and achieve the targeted production of hatching eggs
∎ Monitor the breeder birds regularly for weight profiles, uniformity, feed consumption, mortality etc. and verify these parameters against standards mentioned by the breeder suppliers.
∎ Ensure that the quality of hatching eggs supplied to the hatchery are healthy (regular checking on standard body weight, uniformity, etc.) vital and of the required fertility.
∎ Take measures to reduce and eradicate vertically transmitted diseases
∎ Assist to plan the breeder stock placement and movement with breeder farm in charge
∎ Ensure maintenance of minimum stock levels for breeding stock, equipment, medication, and vaccinations, feed, etc.
∎ Audit breeder farms regularly to check on the level of adherence to set standard operating procedures
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 38 years
∎ Sound Technical Knowledge & Expertise
∎ Outstanding English verbal & written communications skills
∎ Excellent computer literacy especially MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
∎ The incumbent must have practical and thorough experience in breeding operations including EC (environmental control) shed conditions and automation controls (Feed, water, light, etc.)
