Responsibilities & Context: An Accounts Executive manages daily accounting tasks like transaction recording, financial record maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and prepares financial statements and reports. Key duties include ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with stakeholders, supporting audits, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Management: Record and manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and bank statements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Compliance & Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to accounting methods, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.
- Auditing & Internal Control: Assist with annual audits and implement improvements to financial systems and procedures.
- Financial Planning: Support budgeting, forecasting, and the development of financial strategies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal departments, clients, vendors, and auditors to provide support and information.
- System Improvement: Help implement and improve financial systems and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
