Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the design and delivery of the project’s monitoring and evaluation plan, based on the project document log frames and indicators.
∎ Identify sources of data, collection methods, data collection management, frequency, cost and analysis of M&E information and data.
∎ Develop criteria and evaluation scheme for the project impact, benefit and sustainability. Assist in the preparation of a detailed M&E budget and calendar of M&E activities.
∎ Under direction of the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, execute M&E activities with particular focus on results and impacts.
∎ Design the framework for the physical and process monitoring of project activities.
∎ Promote a results-based approach for monitoring and evaluation, emphasising results and impacts.
∎ Prepare consolidated progress reports for project management.
∎ Undertake regular visits to the field / training courses, exercises and drills to support implementation of M&E and to identify where adaptations might be needed.
∎ Facilitate, act as resource person, and join if required any external supervision and evaluation missions.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Evidence of continuing professional development.
∎ Specialist training or experience in disaster risk management, urban resilience and / or emergency management.
∎ Bangladesh / Asia relevant experience
∎ Experience in data-collection and analysis such as the Kobo humanitarian toolbox.
