Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or equivalent degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering (Polymer Science)/ Environmental Management or any relevant subject.

∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ RIC is going to begin a Plastic Waste Recycling in processing microenterprise `Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP)` in Dhaka district under Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) with funding assistance of World Bank. For substantive implementation of this project the organization is going to recruit some competitive staffs as per following criteria:
∎ Employment Status - Full-time & 2 (two) years on contractual basis
∎ Job Location - Branches of the program location in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement environmental practices as per Environmental Management Framework of the SEP Project
∎ Implement environmental and social compliances as per national and international guidelines
∎ Ensure micro-enterprises are aware about environmental guidelines and best practices
∎ Provide Environmental awareness trainings to the micro-enterprise
∎ Provide on job training to the worker on Environment, Occupational Health and Safety at ME level
∎ Monitoring Environment, Occupational Health and Safety for the ME
∎ Suggest environmental related improvements for the ME
∎ Prepare quality reports both English and Bengali as per as SEP-PKSF and World Bank requirements.
∎ Clear understanding on Environmental Management Framework (EMF) and Social Management Framework (SMF).
∎ Prepare deliverables and submit to relevant persons within time line.
∎ Assist in preparing promotional documents like booklets, leaflets, brochures for project branding.
∎ Other responsibilities assigned by the organization or the Project Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 4-5 year(s) in Environmental Management Project, Waste Management Related Project or similar kind of project
∎ At least 4-5 Years in National and International organization.
∎ Desired Professional Qualification
∎ Experience with PKSF Project Management is an advantage.
∎ Proven knowledge of implementing best environmental practices.
∎ Field level experience on Initial Environmental Examination/Environment Screening and Environmental plan
∎ Experience of knowledge providing environment management training, awareness building among mass people on Occupational Health and Safety, Factory Safety, Building Safety, Fire Safety.
∎ Fluent in using computer with MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point independently.
∎ Habituated to extensive field work.
∎ Excellent coordinating capacity with community.
∎ Motorcycle driving with valid license.
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
