• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Audit Firms /Tax Consultant

• Age At least 28 years

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in renewable energy projects, technical audits, training coordination, or certification systems

• Certification as a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) from Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA) is mandatory

• Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy systems and applicable standards

• Experience in curriculum development, technical training, or professional capacity development

• will be considered an advantage

• Familiarity with IEC standards, SREDA guidelines, and regulatory compliance frameworks

• Strong analytical, reporting, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and technical presentation tools

• Ability to travel extensively within Bangladesh

To support its expanding initiatives on technical quality assurance, certification, and professional capacity development, BSREA invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Engineer - Audit, Certification & Training.
Position Objective
The position will support renewable energy project auditing, technical compliance verification, certification systems, workforce development, and technical training initiatives through structured technical assessment, curriculum development, and capacity-building activities.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical audits of renewable energy projects including solar PV, mini-grid, and hybrid systems

• Verify technical compliance, installation quality, operational performance, and safety standards

• Prepare technical audit reports and certification recommendations

• Identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective measures

• Design and organize technical training programs, workshops, and professional development activities

• Develop training modules, curricula, technical manuals, presentations, and certification frameworks

• Coordinate with national and international trainers, experts, and development partners

• Collect and review national and international training curricula and certification systems

• Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory agencies for approval of training curricula and certification systems

• Support issuance and management of technical training and certification documentation

• Contribute to development of technical standards, audit frameworks, and industry guidelines

• Maintain training records, technical documentation, and reporting systems

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh (with extensive field travel across Bangladesh)
Employment Type: Full-time (Contractual)
Reporting To: Secretary, BSREA
Ethics & Compliance: The selected candidate must maintain professional integrity, impartiality, confidentiality, and avoid any conflict of interest during audit, assessment, and certification-related activities.
Contract Duration

• Initial contract period: 3 years.

• Renewable based on performance evaluation, organizational requirements, and continuation of funding.

• Monthly consolidated gross salary: BDT 50,000–60,000.

• Travel Allowance (TA/DA) will be provided as per BSREA policy.
