Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, Communications, or a related field.
2–4 years of proven experience in event management, program coordination, NGO or private sector project support.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bangla.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or climate change will be considered a strong asset.
Willingness to work beyond regular hours during major events, when required.

About BSREA
Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA) is the apex private sector organization promoting sustainable and renewable energy in Bangladesh. Since its establishment in 2011, BSREA has been working closely with the Government, development partners, industry leaders, and civil society to accelerate clean energy deployment, policy reform, and private sector growth.
BSREA regularly organizes high-level conferences, policy dialogues, training programs, exhibitions, and member engagement initiatives. We are now seeking a proactive, organized, and energetic Event & Program Officer to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of these activities.
This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to Bangladesh’s clean energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
A. Event Planning & Coordination
Plan, organize, and coordinate conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, fairs, and meetings.
Liaise with venues, vendors, media partners, and logistics providers to ensure smooth event delivery.
Prepare event plans, budgets, timelines, and operational checklists.
Coordinate on-site event execution, including registration, guest management, and logistics.
Ensure proper visibility and branding of BSREA events in collaboration with the Branding & Communication Officer.
B. Program & Project Support
Support the implementation of BSREA’s programs and donor-funded projects.
Assist in preparing project concepts, proposals, progress reports, and event documentation.
Coordinate with partners, stakeholders, and members for joint activities and initiatives.
C. Member & Stakeholder Engagement
Support membership services through engagement programs, networking events, and briefings.
Act as focal point for BSREA members regarding event participation.
Maintain and update databases of members, stakeholders, speakers, and participants.
Serve as a primary point of contact for external partners, vendors, speakers, and attendees.
D. Monitoring & Reporting
Draft event reports, meeting minutes, and summaries for internal and external circulation.
Collect and analyze participant feedback to improve future programs.
Support donor and partner reporting requirements.
Coordinate with communications teams to promote events and programs through newsletters, social media, and other channels.
A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The indicative salary range for this position is BDT 30,000-40,000 per month (gross).
