Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduates from engineering/ economics/ public administration/ relevant discipline and with master’s in renewable energy/ business administration/ public policy from reputed institutions.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Depending on the requirement, the job location could be split between GIZ office Dhaka and the partner Ministry Offices
∎ Contract Duration till: July 31, 2024
∎ Band: 4T

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in power and energy sector including at least 3 years in coordinating technical cooperation project activities with focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency.
∎ Knowledge on Bangladesh power and energy sector including various policies, development plans, renewable energy and energy efficiency potentials, development status, market barriers, and relevant stakeholders is essential.
∎ Experience in building and maintaining professional relationship with stakeholders, particularly the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) agencies as well as other development partners, including knowledge on various government protocols is an asset.
∎ Ability to successfully navigate through a politically sensitive environment.
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and must be a strong team player.
∎ Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Fluency in English is essential.
∎ Knowledge of German Language is an asset.
∎ Excellent network within public and private sector organisations in energy sector.
∎ Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team in a multi-cultural environment.
∎ Strong coordination experience with multiple partner organisations, specifically in public sector.
