Experience:

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Share Brokerage/ Securities House

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Master of Science (MSc)

• B.Sc & M.Sc in Environmental Science from any reputed university.

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Share Brokerage/ Securities House

• Sound Knowledge and practical experience on Oekotex, OCS, GOTS, RCS, GRS, Environmental Laws and Regulations

• At least 3 years of practical experience on EMS in any large RMG factories

• Excellent communication in both written & speaking in English

• Conversant with MS-Office

• Job Location : Jamgara, Ashulia, Dhaka

• Prepare and organize the factory according to local regulations and buyer`s standards e.g. ISO 14001-2015, Oeko-Tex, OCS, GRS, GOTS, RCS, ICS etc.

• Prepare policy regarding Environmental Conservation Rules 1997 and Environmental Conservation Act1995

• Interpretation of Legal environmental requirement with concerned departments

• Should have experience on Higg Index-Facility Environmental Module (FEM) Version 3.0 and version 4.0

• Monitoring and implementing sustainability projects like Better Work in the factory.

• Continuously reviewing the environmental compliance activities of the factories & Visit the floor with Buyers during audit time

• Arrange different test from certified testing organization according to requirements of buyers and maintain close relation with the recognized testing organization with BUET, SGS, BUREAU VERITAS, ITS etc.

• Prepare monthly audit & training schedule and according to schedule conducting internal audit & updating the factory for buyer`s environmental standards

• Environmental audit findings sharing with concerned department & planning how it can be rectified by taking completion time line and follow up on due time for those issues accordingly

• Facing Buyer Audit, third party audit, financial party audit regarding environmental requirements by Coordinating with buyer team time to time and preparing documentations for buyer`s CAP

• Provide the appropriate guidance and support to the factory concern & environmental team members to implement buyer environmental standard and legal requirements

• Buyer wise issue sharing and conduct team meeting to review regular time to time feedback from the team member

• Prepare training manual and policy on environmental issues for staff and workers and provide training to the workers on Environmental management system

• Liaison with whole stakeholders

• Provide necessary support to the Department to meet the new requirements of buyer, documents, records, information and amendment of laws

• Any other tasks assigned by management
