Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure proper operation of department equipment; request maintenance assistance when necessary
∎ Maintain an orderly and clean work environment
∎ Develop daily, weekly, and monthly key production / productivity measurements
∎ Set expectations for the Embroidery Department
∎ Verify monthly budget for accuracy; analyze monthly budget and adjusting as necessary: Investigate discrepancies and re-class entries accordingly. Bear responsibility and accountability for meeting departmental budget goals
∎ Enforce company attendance policies; keep accurate records of each individual's attendance / tardy records
∎ Regularly demonstrate company Vision and Values
∎ Exhibit quality by being accurate and thorough while continuously looking for ways to improve and promote quality
∎ Encourage safety procedures by using equipment and materials properly and report potentially unsafe conditions; oversee departmental adherence to these procedures
∎ Responsible for training and performance of department personnel
∎ Conduct employee performance review process
∎ Match all production paperwork with production tracking log
∎ Move orders to and from machines also tying on any thread if necessary for operators.
∎ Helping out in all aspects on the production floor when needed
∎ Provide regular performance feedback to direct reports
∎ Write annual evaluations for direct reports and monitor mid-year performance
∎ Monitor daily productions and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary
∎ Coordinate and monitor flow of production orders for the floor
∎ Approve all artwork and samples on floor
∎ Schedule monthly meetings for team
∎ Perform other responsibilities that may be assigned by superior management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least Two years of supervisory level or higher experience in an embroidery production environment.
∎ Demonstrated flexibility- adapts to a changing work environment while meeting company and department milestones
∎ Must be able to handle multiple projects at once
∎ Detail oriented with strong communication and follow-through skills
∎ Time management, honesty, integrity are must.
∎ Should have good computer literacy.
∎ Strong leadership with communication/interpersonal skill.
∎ Because this job is such a vital position, attendance must be kept within company guidelines.
