Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Act as the operational and strategic lead of the education program across 4 schools.
∎ Monitor daily activities to ensure quality education and student engagement.
∎ Develop and implement academic goals aligned with the organization's mission.
∎ Prepare and revise lesson plans, class routines, and student progress tracking systems.
∎ Supervise the execution of club activities, exams, parent meetings, and home visits.
∎ Prepare and implement a customized academic routine focused on SSC and Class 5 students.
∎ Ensure regular guardian meetings, weekly assessments, and extra classes.
∎ Appoint and supervise special subject teachers for targeted academic support.
∎ Facilitate home visits, daily follow-up, and report of student’s progress.
∎ Track and analyze performance for scholarship.
∎ Lead program evaluation through data collection, analysis, and progress tracking.
∎ Submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on program KPIs.
∎ Ensure all reports are submitted on time and in the appropriate format.
∎ Lead and guide coordinators, teachers and support staff across all education branches.
∎ Ensure adherence to SOPs, lesson plan quality, and daily performance standards.
∎ Organize regular training, workshops, and team meetings to build staff capacity.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and ensure budget-based implementation.
∎ Submit bills following organizational finance protocols and maintain expense tracking.
∎ Oversee maintenance and proper use of school resources (books, IT equipment, furniture).
∎ Represent the education program in organizational and inter-agency meetings.
∎ Build and maintain communication with local stakeholders, parents, and the central office.
∎ Ensure compliance with child safeguarding and organizational policies.
∎ To ensure smooth and standardized operations, the Education Program Coordinator must:
∎ Ensure daily student attendance is recorded and reviewed (target: 90%+).
∎ Monitor teacher lesson plans weekly and approve monthly plans.
∎ Submit monthly progress reports within the deadline.
∎ Conduct teacher observation and feedback sessions every week.
∎ Ensure proper classroom environment and discipline is maintained.
∎ Facilitate guardian meetings every month to engage parents in the education process.
∎ Maintain digital and hardcopy documentation of student records and academic progress.
∎ Coordinate with the HR/Admin department for staff leave, attendance, and performance issues.
∎ Plan and execute at least 1 capacity-building session per quarter for educators.
∎ Prepare and ensure timely execution of exam schedules, result publication, and analysis.
∎ Minimum 80% overall student attendance (target 90%)
∎ Minimum 90% sponsor student attendance (target 100%)
∎ Sponsor student dropout rate < 5%
∎ Overall student dropout rate < 10%
∎ Zero unofficial staff leaves
∎ Zero accidental or safety incidents for students

∎ Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Education (B.Ed/M.Ed), or Management.

∎ Prior experience in education, NGO, or development sectors is essential.

∎ Job Summary
∎ The Education Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing and developing four fully functional schools (NCTB Curriculum), ensuring high student retention, academic quality, and teacher development. The coordinator will also oversee special academic initiatives, including SSC batch and Class 5 scholarship preparation, and ensure effective program implementation with proper planning, reporting, and resource utilization.

The main sources of funding for the children are through the "Sponsor A Child" program, corporate CSR, and crowdfunding. Additionally, there are initiatives like social enterprises to ensure sustainability. We conduct an independent external audit every year with a government-listed CA firm in Bangladesh.
