∎ Working Hours: Saturday - Thursday (10 am-6 pm)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As an Education Counselor at MAA Air Corporation, you will play an important role in guiding and supporting students and their families as they make educational decisions. Your primary responsibilities will be as follows:
∎ Communication: Reach out to students by phone, email, or text.
∎ Student Counseling: Assist students in making informed decisions about their educational and career paths by providing expert guidance and counseling services. To recommend appropriate academic programs, you must first understand their goals, interests, and strengths.
∎ University /College Selection: Help students research and shortlist appropriate colleges and universities based on their preferences, academic background, and career goals. Inform students about admission requirements, application procedures, and scholarship opportunities.
∎ Academic and Career Planning: Work with students to create personalized academic and career plans, assisting them in aligning their goals with appropriate educational pathways. Advice on course selection, credit transfers, and internships is available.
∎ International Education: Provide students with information about studying abroad opportunities, such as selecting countries, universities, and programs that match their interests and academic goals. Inform visitors about visa requirements, language proficiency tests, and cultural adaptation.
∎ Networking and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleges, universities, and educational institutions in order to stay informed about program offerings, admission policies, and scholarships. Attend education fairs and networking events to make connections and expand student opportunities.
∎ Application Review: Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement on student applications, personal statements, resumes, and recommendation letters. Make certain that applications are well-presented and effectively highlight students' strengths.
∎ Professional Development: Stay current on educational trends and developments by attending conferences and workshops and participating in ongoing professional development activities to improve counseling skills and knowledge.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Age at least 20-35 years
∎ Experience in educational counseling.
∎ Strong knowledge of academic programs, admission processes, and career development.
∎ Excellent counseling and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and families.
∎ In-depth understanding of international education systems and study abroad opportunities.
∎ Knowledge of scholarships, financial aid, and funding options for higher education.
∎ Familiarity with college admission tests, such as SAT, PTE, and IELTS.
∎ Proficiency in utilizing counseling tools, software, and online resources.
∎ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
∎ Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse student populations.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 12000 - 20000 (Monthly)
