Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements:

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Disaster Risk Reduction, LIvelihoods

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Select poor and affected host community for livelihoods program;
∎ Arrange respective training to selected household, so that they can ensure their livelihood and food security after the training;
∎ To provide agricultural and non-agricultural inputs to the members for income generation;
∎ To augment the awareness of the community regarding disaster management and preparedness and take initiative to prepare effective IEC materials;
∎ Tree saplings which will be planted in camp and HC to save the environmental disasters due to deforestation;
∎ Distributing household repair material (rope, plastic sheet, etc.) to FDMN before rainy and cyclone season, so that they can prepare and protect them-self;
∎ Prepare reports according to the interventions for donors/NGOAB/etc.;
∎ Take necessary steps to implement the assign activities according to the log frame and align with other intervention;
∎ Necessary field visit for monitoring/guidance and team building with four IGA Monitors in consultation with PM;
∎ Address any other job assigned by Programme Manager or Coordinator, Rohingya Response/senior Management in CCDB.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply with necessary qualification and experience;
∎ Frequent field visits with locals/foreigners may requires as the project demands;
∎ Should be available to respond to emergencies beyond of regular working/office hours;
∎ Must be available to travel on short notice;
∎ Should contribute to positive attitudes and team spirit among the CCDB employees;
∎ Previous experience dealing with Rohingya and host community on Humanitarian context and emergency with NGO/INGO in Cox's Bazar is preferable;
∎ Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, power point and Excel.
∎ Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively in written and spoken English. Chittagonian/Rohingya language speaking capacity is required and will be a strong plus;
∎ Willing to work in a team with flexibility and with positive attitude to learn and work;
∎ Applications are only expected from Bangladeshi nationals;
∎ Good team leading skills;
∎ Must have good assessment, analytical, and planning skills; and
∎ Should be willing to drive motorcycle with valid driving license (motorcycle).

Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
