Responsibilities & Context:
Maintain and operate dredger machinery, including main engine, pump, cutter, and winches.
Monitor fuel, oil consumption, and engine performance during operations.
Perform routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
Supervise engine room crew and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Maintain daily operational and maintenance records.
Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
Provide practical knowledge for preparing and adding contract terms & conditions.
Assist in sourcing new business through technical and operational support.
Supervise machinery works during dry-docking and major repairs.
