Job Context:
∎ ASSURE GROUP is opening a new sector of Hospitality service in the field of Tourism. To make the service all-inclusive and premium, the group is looking for a Door Man for its Hotel/Resorts at Cox’s Bazar & Manikganj.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Greet and welcome guests and visitors to the hotel
∎ Greet visitors and guests on departure, wishing them a pleasant journey
∎ Relieve guests of their luggage on arrival, store it and log it if a porter is not available
∎ Handle all guest’s requests, queries, comments, and complaints in a courteous and prompt manner, taking the necessary action steps and ensuring follow-through where required
∎ Open cars/taxi doors arriving at the hotel and give help to people in need, especially old, disabled, children, and people carrying heavy loads
∎ Remove all items of luggage from the vehicle of the guest and call a porter to take delivery of guest luggage into the hotel
∎ Where luggage porter is unavailable, escort guest into the lobby and to the reception desk, and deposit the luggage in the luggage room, and inform the concierge
∎ To call taxis for guests and visitors, to open doors as appropriate, and to give directions as required.
∎ To park guest cars in the hotel’s allocated car parking spaces
∎ To direct traffic on the hotel forecourt and to ensure that the forecourt and entrance are not obstructed in any way
∎ Greet and welcome guests with the appropriate greeting of the day and direct them personally into the hotel
∎ Whilst accompanying guests, to promote hotel services and facilities, such as restaurants, Health Club, or other special promotions at the time
∎ Ensure guest satisfaction by performing such duties as attending to their requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently, and accepting changes or additions in work hours, which are necessary for the maintenance of uninterrupted service to hotel guests and patrons
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working in any 3-5 Star standard Hotel in the same position will be preferred and considered for academic qualification.
∎ Experience Requirements: At least 2 Years in the same position in a reputable Hotel/Resort
∎ Height: More than 5’-8”
∎ Good Physical appearance
∎ Excellent hospitality skills
∎ Fluency in English
∎ Flexible schedule
