Job Context:
∎ ASSURE GROUP is opening a new sector of Hospitality service in the field of Tourism. To make the service all-inclusive and premium, the group is looking for a Maintenance Engineer for its Hotel/Resorts at Cox’s Bazar & Manikgonj.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overseeing hotel infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety
∎ Managing maintenance teams
∎ Organizing repair, installation, and renovation projects
∎ Inspect Resort regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
∎ Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and the area of all the facilities
∎ Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
∎ Plan and oversee construction and renovations
∎ Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
∎ Find ways to reduce (keep control) resort operating costs and conserve energy
∎ Supervise team of Engineering Department
∎ Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
∎ Maintain budgets, expenses, and activity logs
∎ Maintain records of all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) training and meetings
∎ Be able to organize labor/ sub-contractors / plants/equipment in a safe and risk-free manner
∎ Ensure all Health and Safety matters are reported to the Head of operations
∎ Champion Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental works on the Project
∎ Manage the development of safety plans and rigorously enforce implementation
∎ Facilitate risk assessments and safety audits
∎ Encourage and promote a project safety culture
∎ Provide leadership to the site team, subcontractors, and workforce in the development of their safety plans and procedures, an inspection of works/ daily execution activities to make sure using good/safe tools, machines, working platform etc.
∎ Investigate and report all incidents with efficiency and ensure debriefs are conducted and actioned Develop safety audit schedule and assist in carrying out on-site audits and meetings, conduct thorough site inspections and support site to close out any actions arising
∎ Assist with the preparation of work method statements to encompass relevant construction processes
∎ MEP- Maintenance
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 Years in the same position, in a reputable Hotel/Resort.
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
∎ Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus
∎ Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management)
∎ Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
∎ Problem-solving aptitude
∎ Excellent organizational and leadership skills
