Experience:

• Strong understanding of canine behavior, psychology, and body language.

• Familiarity with positive reinforcement techniques and other training methodologies.

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust with both dogs and owners.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physical stamina for handling active or large dogs.

• Problem-solving skills to address unique behavioral issues.

• Certification from a recognized training program (e.g., CPDT, KPA, or similar) is preferred.

• Experience working with a variety of breeds and temperaments.

As a dog Trainer, he will work to teach dogs specific behaviors, modify undesirable habits, and foster better communication between dogs and the owner. This role involves assessing a dog`s needs, creating tailored training plans, and guiding pet owners in implementing these strategies effectively.

• Evaluate a dog`s behavior, temperament, and learning capacity to determine appropriate training methods.

• Design and implement training plans tailored to specific goals, such as obedience, agility, therapy certification, or behavior modification.

• Work directly with dogs to teach commands, address behavioral issues, and reinforce positive behavior.

• Provide owners with the tools and knowledge to maintain training results , including demonstrations and clear instructions.

• Address specific challenges such as aggression, anxiety, excessive barking, or leash pulling using positive reinforcement and other techniques.

• Monitor and document the dog`s development and adjust training methods as necessary.

• Offer advanced training for service dogs, working dogs, or competitive dog sports, if qualified.

• Ensure the safety of both the dog and trainer during sessions by recognizing stress signals and responding appropriately.
