Education: - Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Masters degree in any discipline
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, or related fields.

Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - Working experience in the disability field is preferable.
- Proven experience in report writing, documentation, and content development for development projects
- Strong research and analytical skills, with ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data
- Excellent command of written and spoken Bangla and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with digital documentation tools
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, error-free documents under tight deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with field teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge or experience in disability inclusion is an advantage.
- Implement appropriate mitigation strategies for safeguarding risks
- Undertake any other task assigned by CDD management.
Responsibilities & Context: *** Job Responsibilities:
- To comprehensively assess the project's impact on the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of parents/caregivers, neighbors, and OPD members, and the overall inclusion of children with severe and multiple disabilities in mainstream education.
- To identify and analyze the key factors that have facilitated or hindered the project's progress, including programmatic interventions, community engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and policy environment.
- To generate evidence-based recommendations and sustainability strategies for future interventions aimed at promoting the inclusion of children with disabilities in mainstream education in Bangladesh and similar contexts.
- Analyzing quantitative data to identify gender disparities in access to education, support services, and project benefits.
- Exploring the experiences and perspectives of women and girls with disabilities, as well as female caregivers, through qualitative interviews and focus group discussions.
- Examining the role of gender norms and power dynamics in shaping attitudes and practices related to disability inclusion.
- Ensuring that research findings and recommendations are gender-sensitive and contribute to promoting gender equality in disability inclusion efforts.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
- Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
- Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

- CDD is seeking to recruit one ’Documentation Officer’ for short-term) under the project titled ‘Strengthening systems for the enrolment, retention and support of children with disabilities at primary level of mainstream education in Bangladesh (DID TO-45), funded by FCDO. The Documentation Officer will be responsible for supporting the project team in preparing high-quality documentation including reports, case studies, event summaries, and communication materials. The role will involve working closely with the capacity-building and M&E team to ensure timely and accurate documentation aligned with project objective. The project duration is till December 2025.
