Job Context:
∎ Duration: 20 months
∎ Job location: Chattogram Division
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and coordinate the project for achieving the project's goal, outcome and expected results which are specified in project proposal.
∎ Responsible to coordinate with divisional and district level administration, government officials & CMPCs.
∎ Responsible to implement the planned activities effectively and successfully as per project work plan by ensuring quality and set strategies and guidelines
∎ Maintaining liaison with Divisional Commissioner and District Commissioners to obtain government orders and list of CMPC members;
∎ Work with and facilitate different Orientation workshop, training with Child Marriage Prevention Committee representatives and other relevant stakeholders on CMRA 2017, GE, CP and roles & responsibilities at district and divisional level
∎ Conduct annual progress review meetings of district action plans to combat CEFM, including representatives from the Governance Innovation Unit (PMO-GIU) to ensure the inclusion of actions to mitigate risks from disasters
∎ Arrange necessary resources for the project and utilise them efficiently for implementation in line with the budgets and value for money is ensured within the project.
∎ Develop project plan, budget and project reports and submit it to donor and YPSA as per requirements
∎ Ensure proper and smooth financial management in the project in compliance with YPSA, Plan international Bangladesh's policy and standards.
∎ Supervise, monitor and evaluate the project work and performance of staff and take concrete steps to improve job performance
∎ Organize and conduct regular monthly staff meetings.
∎ Maintain effective communication, coordination and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Represents YPSA & Plan International at the local level network to promote YPSA & Plan's profile and scale-up of Plan's program at divisional level.
∎ Maintain all policies of YPSA including Child protection and Gender policy.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years' experience in the development field along with 4 years of experience in project management.
∎ Experience in capacity building and training with different stakeholders
∎ Experiences to maintain liaison with Local administration and other government departments
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
∎ Excellent communication skills including a high level of written and spoken in English
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
Salary:
∎ Monthly Salary (approximate): 85,000/-
