Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate among Engage Men and Boys network members for the project implementation;
∎ Ensure inception meeting, quarterly meeting with the district level network, training and workshop with government officials, CSOs and relevant stakeholders;
∎ Coordinate the youth campaign and media engagement, community mobilization;
∎ Initiate to increase capacity of EMB network at the district /divisional level to build technical and conceptual capacity for implementing project interventions and build strong coordination among network members and potential allies i.e. youth, religious leaders, key influential people, journalists, members of civil society of seven divisions;
∎ Coordinate interventions like university campaign, school campaign, youth campaign, capture knowledge and share evidence based learning of this project;
∎ Represent the EMB network at different workshops, seminars and discussion sessions at district/ divisional level;
∎ Develop cooperative attitudes among network members and different stakeholders;
∎ Support to M&E system to ensure tracking and reporting of project results;
∎ Ensure functioning of EMB network towards policy advocacy on VAWC, Child Marriage issue and Engage Men and boys at division and district level;
∎ Maintain budget and effective fund management of the project;
∎ Ensure project related documents, periodic reports from the field;
∎ Attend Network meeting and Support Network for adopting new strategic directions based on project's learning at local level;
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while action as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures. Practice, promote encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2-3 years professional experience on gender equality and women empowerment in the development sector
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding on gender and women development, gender mainstreaming, masculinity and capacity to link with other development agenda
∎ Active involvement with women movement at national level
∎ An influential communicator and demonstration ability to convene people
∎ Ability to network effectively with the ability to develop a wide range of relevant contacts
∎ Ability to manage multiple complex job duties and project-based work
