Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to coordinate overall activities of socio-economic reintegration of returnee migrants. The incumbent will need to closely supervise Field Organisers of respective Upazilla and organise and facilitate issue based training, workshop and meetings, keep documentation, prepare periodical report and project MIS. Maintain regular and timely communication with local level stakeholders i.e. duty bearers, local government, institutes, journalists, returnee migration forums and other relevant persons and institutes/ organisations for advocacy and networking for smooth implementation of the field level activities.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise the Field Officers working in the project under respective Reintegration Service Center and provide continuous guidance to the team for ensuring quality programme implementation/ field operations.
∎ Undertake regular field visits and facilitate field activities for ensuring better outcome of the project.
∎ Coordinate volunteer selection, their capacity building process and provide guidance to implement activities, develop and maintain volunteer database.
∎ Organise training, meeting and workshops at local level.
∎ Communicate regularly and develop good relation with local level stakeholders (GO and NGOs) for ensuring field level activity, advocacy and networking.
∎ Coordinate and make follow-up of returnee profiling, develop and maintain online database.
∎ Liaise with local level industries/ institutes and projects for managing job placement for the returnees.
∎ Identify best practices/ case story collection, documentation and prepare periodical activity report/ MIS etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound competencies on program management and facility management related activities
∎ Excellent communications and reporting skills
∎ Ability to manage multi-layer teams
∎ Ability to conduct community mobilisation activities, facilitation and management
∎ Minimum 02 years of relevant work experience in development activities at field level is preferable. Previous experience of working with migrants will be considered as an advantage.
