∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 7 institutions and 14 donor funded projects. DAM is looking for competent and self-motivated individuals for the following position under "USAID Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activities (BNA) Project".· DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of District Coordinator of its “USAID Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activities” (BNA) Project, based in Barishal Division.

∎ Job Responsibility: Ensure smooth implementation of project activities.· Ensure quality implementation of the monthly action plan.· Supervise and support Field Facilitators to carry out activities related to capacity building of MMC, vendors, market actors, homestead vegetable producers, Women Entrepreneurs, awareness building for consumers, and other stakeholders in the rural and Peri urban areas.· Ensure close coordination and collaboration with Upazilla/District level government and private sector stakeholders· Coordinate, negotiate, cooperate, and maintain a good relationship with team members both in organizations and alliances.· Provide technical support to Field Facilitators/Growth center level for routine program implementation.· Assist the Project Manager, Technical Field Coordinator, and Abt MEL Coordinator in developing systematic and realistic action plans to capture project lines on Nutrition.· Support and assist Field Facilitators as and when required · Regular monitoring visits with Field Facilitators in GC and Communities.· Be focal of 4-5 upazila as assigned by the project management for regular communication and sharing of information, best practice documentation, etc. with the local level GO/NGO stakeholders like UNO, UH&FPO, LGED, DAE, Health, DPHE, DOF, DLS DWA and other relevant government department and INGOs/NGOs;· Attend formal and informal meetings at Upazilla and district level.· Plan, organize and facilitate training programs including training needs assessments (TNA)· Develop and review training curriculums and training materials.· Prepare all kinds of reports and minutes that are timely and submit to PM.· Secondary responsibility:· Ensure documentation of specific work, develop Upazila wise progress report, and ensure submission to Project Manager and team on a monthly basis.· Support the Project Manager in preparing quarterly, half yearly, annual, and any other reports required of the project management.· Support to improve Field Facilitators’ knowledge, skills, and attitude in facilitating nutrition and agricultural productivity oriented sessions· Ensure qualitative data collection and assessment as per program requirements.· Conduct mentoring visits and meetings with the Market Management Committee (MMC), Business Association (BA) & Project related stockholders to ensure the quality of project activities.· Ensure reaching IEC/BCC materials to target groups.· Undertake supportive supervision visits to project areas and provide on-the-job training to project staff members.· Perform other duties as and when necessary/needed or assigned to you for the center Communication by email, maintaining the online BNA platform and Upazilla program update in DAM monthly newsletter and webpage via Project Manager.
