• Ensure correct use of machines, tools, and manufacturing methods.

• Maintain logbooks, maintenance records, and inspection reports.

• Prepare daily/weekly production or maintenance reports

Job Context:

We are looking for experienced and passionate Diploma Engineer (Mechanical). Who has practical experience in Furniture industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and efficient working of machines and mechanical systems.

• Assist senior engineers in planning, design, and execution of projects.

• Monitor production activities and maintain quality standards.

• Handle tools, machines, and measurement instruments properly.

• Coordinate with other departments (electrical, production, planning).

• Provide technical support in material selection and process improvements.

• Support in R&D activities, prototype testing, and product development.

• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.

• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns in equipment.

• Follow company policies, industry codes, and safety regulations.

• Train operators or junior staff about machine handling and safety.

• Support installation, erection, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

• Continuously upgrade technical knowledge and adapt to new technologies.
