Responsibilities & Context:
Lead, manage, and supervise all store operations, including raw materials, trims, accessories, fabric, and finished goods.
Ensure timely receipt and issue of materials to support uninterrupted production flow.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely reporting.
Coordinate with merchandising, production, procurement, accounts, and audit teams for smooth material movement.
Maintain and monitor bin cards, stock ledgers, and ERP system entries.
Ensure compliance with FIFO, batch-wise tracking, and quality control procedures.
Oversee monthly and annual physical stock counts and reconciliation.
Drive continuous improvement in store layout, safety, cleanliness, and material handling practices.
Monitor stock aging and generate reports on dead stock, slow-moving items, and consumption trends.
Ensure proper storage conditions for different materials (especially knit fabrics to prevent damage).
Ensure to maintain all required documents properly such as; gate pass, all types of challan, invoice, test standard, certificate etc.
Lead and develop the store team through effective delegation, training, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and buyer requirements.
To maintain software-based system (logic) for materials delivering to the production floor as per plan.
