Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be an expert on Production Management and production planning.
∎ Order status monitoring & regular schedule meeting with production team and merchandising team for production planning
∎ Always be updated on production status whether it is meeting the production plan or not, if not then make a route cause analysis and give quick solution for a smooth operation
∎ Reviewing production plan with capacity & strength along with ensuring timely shipment target
∎ To take all kinds of trouble shooting steps in case of necessity to maintain production schedule
∎ To ensure timely shipment of goods to the overseas buyers following original delivery schedule
∎ To organize production plans covering central plan and all kinds of inputs and advice in efficient and cheaper sourcing.
∎ To establish team work & good relationship playing proactive role to run the factory operation
∎ To align with supporting department/functions for achieving common company goal.
∎ Report to top management about company efficiency level and take necessary step to improve efficiency day by day.
∎ Able to develop production team to work with minimum man machine ratio.
∎ Measuring accurate factory efficiency, line performance, changeover effectiveness, capacity study, time & motion study, machine breakdown etc.
∎ Carryout pre-order costing and post order costing (artwork & sample) in coordination with merchandising team.
∎ Communicate with product development team to make the product feasible for production, and at the same time, meeting customers' demand.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 5-7 years experiences as similar or in higher positions in a large knit garments factory.
∎ Technical Capacity.
∎ Problem Solving / Analytical.
∎ Must be computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, Internet Explorer, E-mail).
∎ Must have good command verbal & written communication skill in both English & Bengali.
∎ Willingness to work under pressure.
∎ Pro-active, smart, self-motivated, enthusiastic and career oriented
∎ Well knowledge in such areas: buyers' COC, Compliance issue, BLL-2006
