Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of the leading and most diversified conglomerates in Bangladesh, is seeking a highly experienced and result-driven General Manager, Corporate Sales (FMCG Division). The selected candidate will lead nationwide corporate sales operations, expand institutional business, and strengthen relationships with corporate clients. The position is based at the Head Office in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and guide the Corporate Sales team to achieve company sales targets for FMCG products.
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand corporate and institutional sales across Bangladesh.
HoReCa Segment (Hotels, Restaurants & Catering)- Hotels (3–5 star and business hotels), Fine dining and casual restaurants, Cafeterias (Coffee shop chain) and food courts, Clubs (social, recreational, sports clubs), Catering companies and industrial canteens, Hospitals and medical institution cafeterias, educational institution cafeterias (schools, colleges, universities)
B2B / Corporate & Institutional Segment - Corporate houses and large private organizations, Universities, colleges, and private institutions, Super Shops / Modern Trade chains, Office canteens and staff dining facilities, large events and corporate conferences, shopping malls and commercial complexes, Airlines, travel companies, transport operators (for onboard catering & supply), Factories / industrial zones (staff meals, canteen requirements)
Government & Semi-Government Institutions – Government ministries, divisions, and offices, Defense organizations (Army, Navy, Air Force supply channels), Police, RAB, BGB canteens, Municipal and city corporation institutions, public hospitals, medical colleges, healthcare institutions, educational institutions under government bodies, State-owned enterprises (SOEs) and autonomous bodies.
Additional Segments to Strengthen Corporate Sales - NGOs and international development organizations (UN agencies, INGOs), Large event management agencies (for bulk order requirements), Hospitality chains, Coffee shops and franchise groups (local & international), E-commerce and online grocery platforms, Export-oriented organizations requiring FMCG products for workforce consumption.
Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics; propose counterstrategies accordingly.
Assess customer requirements, ensure proper SKU placement, and design customized corporate offerings.
Prepare annual business plans, sales forecasts, and performance reports for management.
Ensure timely payment collection and sound management of credit limits.
Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Distribution teams to support business operations.
Coach and develop the Corporate Sales team to enhance capability and performance
