Experience:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.

• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Job description:
Design and develop comprehensive plans and blueprints for the water distribution network, pump house, transmission lines, deep tube well. buildings, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine optimal locations for infrastructure installations and to identify potential challenges or constraints.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, hydrologists, and environmental specialists, to integrate structural designs with overall project objectives and specifications.
Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability, safety, and durability of all constructed elements, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, seismic resistance, and environmental impacts.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools to create detailed drawings, models, and simulations of proposed structures and systems.
Prepare technical documentation, including engineering reports, construction drawings, and specifications, for regulatory approvals, bidding processes, and project implementation.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, address any design-related issues or discrepancies. and ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.
Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams, subcontractors, and project managers throughout the implementation phase, offering solutions to unforeseen challenges and optimizing construction methodologies.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering and water infrastructure development, incorporating innovative solutions and methodologies into project designs wherever applicable.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the project team, promoting collaboration, professionalism, and accountability in all engineering activities.
Structural re-design of old structure of Dhaka WASA such as WASA Bhabon, Old Shanti bottle Plant infrastructure etc. as per the instruction of the PMU.
Attend meetings as and when required.
