Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Minimum Bachelor degree in any discipline.
∎ Any related professional course and certification will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 15 to 20 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deal with all policy level analysis and matters connected with NBR & Customs.
∎ To address individual problems of RMG units relates to the Customs Department/Bond Commisonerate office and take necessary actions to provide better service to the members.
∎ Deal with policy matters involving Import, Export Policy & Industrial Policy.
∎ To monitor renewal of Bonded Warehouse License.
∎ Co-Ordinate policy issues with Bangladesh Bank involving RMG sector.
∎ Deal with custom problems and prepare brief for simplification of Customs procedure.
∎ To attend individual problems of RMG units.
∎ Deal with Air/Sea/Land port & adequate knowledge on port & shipping matters.
∎ Prepare draft of minutes of the meeting.
∎ Overall supervision of Customs Branches.
∎ Arranging meeting and preparation of agenda of meeting with NBR and other Customs authorities with approval of the concerned Standing Committee and the Management and follow up implementation of the decisions.
∎ Any other assignment entrusted by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 60 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s); Finance & Bank operation, Custom & Shipping matters.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Customs, Ports in Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous body.
∎ Able to work independently and proactively.
∎ Good in oral & writing communication both in Bangla and English.
∎ Computer skill: Operation of internet, e-mailing (Outlook), Microsoft word, Microsoft excel and Microsoft power point.
∎ Age limit may be waived for competent candidate
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ As per BGMEA’s policy.
