Bachelor (Honors)/ Masters in Psychology, Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology, Social science, Social work, Sociology or any other relevant discipline.
2-4 years of experience in counseling and training facilitation, orientation at community level of Bangladesh.
Training on counseling/training will be an added advantage.

Job Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting the Technical Expert in implementing and supervising psychosocial counselling interventions under the Migration Programme. The role will support field-level counsellors to ensure quality service delivery, effective case management, and adherence to counselling ethics. It will coordinate with district teams for counselling implementation, capacity building, documentation, and reporting, while maintaining regular communication with relevant government and partner organizations for advocacy, networking, and the smooth execution of field-level activities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Technical Expert in implementing counselling plans, tools, and guidelines while guiding counsellors to maintain standardized counselling and case management.
Assist field teams in identifying, managing, and documenting complex psychosocial, trauma, and crisis cases, ensuring accurate reporting and data entry from all MRSCs.
Monitor counselling quality, confidentiality, and ethical compliance across field locations.
Conduct regular field visits, track progress, and update management on key findings.
Support referral processes for trauma counselling and medical needs and participate in supervision sessions on counselling issues.
Provide immediate counselling assistance to vulnerable returnees at the airport.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
