Job Context

Classical Leather & Footwear Products Limited is a well-established company specializing in leather and footwear manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced and capable professional to enhance our Product Development Team, which is responsible for overseeing the entire product development process from concept to production approval.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the product development process from concept to production approval.

• Develop, modify, and finalize patterns for leather products (footwear, bags, wallets, etc.) ensuring production readiness.

• Interpret design sketches, tech packs, and blueprints to create accurate samples and patterns.

• Coordinate with design, merchandising, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth product development.

• Supervise sampling activities, ensuring timely sample submission and approval.

• Prepare and analyze costing sheets and support cost optimization initiatives.

• Ensure proper material selection, construction methods, and workmanship standards.

• Utilize CAD software (Lectra, Optitex, TUKAcad, Gerber) and manual techniques for pattern making and grading.

• Troubleshoot technical issues during sampling and production trials.

• Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and production feasibility.

• Maintain proper documentation related to product development and pattern archives.

• Guide and mentor junior team members to enhance team performance.
