∎ JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of Deputy Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation, in GJD is to support monitoring activities of BRAC`s gender equality interventions in field.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and maintain MIS system, and prepare monthly report.
∎ Monitor community-based platforms to assess the quality of gender message delivery process at field level and share findings with programme.
∎ Monitor training and other events of gender mainstreaming and share findings with programme.
∎ Develop tools/ checklist/ guideline for data validation and data quality assessment.
∎ Conduct regular field visit to check the validity of reported data and assess the quality of data.
∎ Prepare report on data validation and data quality assessment and share with supervisors and programme.
∎ Contribute to develop M&E tools, checklists, formats and actively take part in conducting survey/assessment for capturing gender results.
∎ Carry out data analysis from both qualitative and quantitative aspects.
∎ Prepare field visit reports and share findings with management.
∎ Contribute to provide technical support to BRAC programmes, departments and enterprises for monitoring their gender mainstreaming interventions and tracking results.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Advanced knowledge on KoBo Toolbox, Google Spreadsheet, SPSS/Stata, Excel and Access.
∎ Sound knowledge on data processing, editing and analysis.
∎ Demonstrable experience in implementing M&E framework for development projects.
∎ Considerable verbal and written communication skill both in English and Bangla.
∎ At least 3 years working experience in the related field.
