Job Purpose

The position is responsible for tracking programme progress through systematic collection of quantitative and qualitative data, and assisting in assessing the changes resulting from project interventions. The role includes supporting data-driven monitoring, maintaining regular progress tracking mechanisms, and contributing to the evaluation and learning processes to ensure evidence-based programme improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing M&E frameworks, plans, guidelines, and tools for effective monitoring and evaluation of the Migration Programme and its projects.

• Contribute to preparing ToRs for studies, assessments, and evaluations as required.

• Support data collection and reporting through digital tools and real-time systems, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of M&E and MIS reports.

• Provide technical guidance to project and partner staff on indicator development, monitoring systems, and performance tracking.

• Develop methodologies and tools for data quality assessment (DQA), process monitoring, and learning documentation.

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress, assess partner performance, and identify areas for improvement.

• Coordinate with MIS and digitization teams to ensure smooth operation of data management systems.

• Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories to support programme learning and donor reporting.

• Assist in preparing detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual monitoring plans aligned with project budgets.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
