Education:
A Graduate (preferably in Industrial Engineering) from any reputed university
3-5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering in the RMG industry.
Knowledge of engineering economics, relevant technologies, decision analysis, optimization tools, and material-handling.
Understanding of the production planning process, including the application of LEAN principles to production line improvement and various aspects of garment manufacturing systems.
Skill in MS Word, MS Excel, and report writing.
Knowledge about textiles and garments.
Good analytical ability and interpersonal skills.
Work to lead the simplification, standardization, and stabilization of apparel related manufacturing process.
Prepare a plan to improve outgoing quality, employee efficiency, and problems that might arise.
Define the drivers behind cost and lead time and the methodology of setting key performance indicators for monitoring progress.
Modify layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to drive efficiencies.
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
Assist in production planning based on delivery schedules and forecasts, material substitutions, storage, handling facilities, and maintenance requirements.
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
Analyze incentive systems for current piece-rate workers and make recommendations towards maximizing worker output.
Follow-up material utilization in an economical approach and low low-output employees.
Train and motivate the new employees and artisans to get a high level of output.
