Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Accounting / Finance from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check the debit, credit, journal, transfer voucher and other supporting documents and records.
∎ Check the Cash Book with debit, credit and transfer voucher, general ledger, subsidiary ledger and the financial report with general ledger.
∎ Verify bank statement, bank reconciliation statement and fund reconciliation statement of the partner NGOs.
∎ Check the procurement procedure/policy, fixed assets register & stock register and staff recruitment process of the partner NGOs.
∎ Check the personal files, salary register/sheet, leave application, leave register etc. of staff of the partner NGOs.
∎ Check the advance register with vouchers and ledger.
∎ Check Tax and Vat deduction at source from salary of staff of the partner NGOs and suppliers and deposit to Government fund and conduct physical verification of fixed assets, medicine, stationery etc. of NGOs.
∎ Prepare Financial Monitoring Report and submit to Partners and BRAC Management as well as arrange meeting with partners to share the financial findings.
∎ Provide technical assistance to the partner NGOs or BRAC to ensure financial documentation and financial management are in line with donor standards and BRAC internal Policy.
∎ Update the partner NGOs and BRAC with the Global Fund's budget and finance related current requirements and policies.
∎ Assist/conduct financial related training, workshop and meeting with partner NGOs and other relevant stakeholders as required.
∎ Coordinate with project related staff to produce financial management, external & internal audit and financial monitoring outputs from the project.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Carry out any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 02 years of experiences in the field of Accounts / Finance / Budget / Audit / Tax / VAT in any NGO / INGO / Corporate / Government Organisations / Banks / Financial Development Agencies
∎ Knowledge on Accounting, Finance, Audit, Budget, Tax and VAT
∎ Should be sincere, polite, dynamic, hardworking and willing to work under pressure
∎ Competencies on MS Office tools; specially on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Sound communication skills in both Bangla and English
∎ Sound knowledge on Computer literacy
