Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify potential denim producers, both domestically and internationally. This involves conducting research and establishing collaboration with suppliers;
∎ Source required fabric within the targeted price & timeline;
∎ Define Fabric Library- Unique ID for each Fabric - Virtual and Physical;
∎ Build Fabric Technical Parameters sheet - covering Yarn, Fabric, finishing;
∎ Analyze the cost & quality of fabric from various suppliers. Implement strategies to reduce cost;
∎ Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company;
∎ Ensuring that denim fabrics sourced meet the quality standards. This involves conducting quality inspections and working closely with the product development team to address any quality issues;
∎ Define Vendor capability assessment matrix Organizational Vision to deliver a bigger, better & value supply chain;
∎ Sustainability-focused fabric range proposal;
∎ Competitor benchmark for creating better value fabrics, finishes, & Aesthetics;
∎ Maintain fabric archive, this includes physical sampling & storage, digital database, maintenance, and contentious upgradation;
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site;
∎ Perform any other task as assigned by the superior.
