  • At least 6 years dedicated to Corporate Sales or Modern Trade/Key Account Management within the FMCG or CPG sector.

  • Experience with premium or specialty food/beverage brands is a significant plus.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding high sales targets.

  • Strong team leadership and mentorship capabilities for managing sales personnel.

  • Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills (must be adept at presenting to C-level executives and major retail buyers).

  • Deep understanding of Modern Trade logistics, payment terms, and retail margin structures.

  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and sales reporting to drive strategic decisions.Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM tools.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deputy Manager – Corporate & Modern Trade Sales to spearhead our high-volume B2B and organized retail channels. This role is instrumental in translating our premium brand identity into measurable shelf-space and corporate contract revenue, accelerating our market penetration goals.

Key Responsibilities

Modern Trade (Chain Super Shops & Convenience Stores)

  • Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with key buyers, category managers, and decision-makers in major national chain supermarkets (e.g., Shwapno, Agora, Meena Bazar) and premium convenience store networks.
  • Listing & Negotiation: Secure optimal product listings for the Halda Valley premium range, negotiating favorable terms on pricing, promotional calendars, and merchandising space to ensure maximum visibility.
  • Merchandising Excellence: Develop and execute high-impact in-store and shelf displays that reflect Halda Valley’s premium brand image. Oversee field team activities to ensure compliance and inventory optimization.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Own and exceed sales volume and revenue targets for the entire Modern Trade channel.

Corporate & Institutional Sales (B2B)

  • New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and close large-volume supply contracts with corporate clients, including premium hotels, high-end restaurants, corporate offices, banks, and institutional customers.
  • Custom Solutions: Develop tailored tea solutions (e.g., custom corporate gifting, employee wellness programs, hospitality blends) that leverage the quality and story of Halda Valley.
  • Key Account Management: Manage the full sales lifecycle for major corporate accounts, ensuring long-term client retention and revenue growth through consistent service and upsells.

Strategy & Reporting

  • Market Intelligence: Provide regular, actionable feedback on competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer demands within the B2B and Modern Trade sectors.
  • Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, inventory requirements, and budget requests for the assigned channels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the D2C E-commerce and Production teams to ensure inventory alignment, promotional synchronization, and unified brand messaging.
