Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborating with the HD to support the overall management of the medical programs in the project and defining the resources needed.
∎ With support from the hospital management team, implementing and monitoring he hospital/quality improvement plan in the hospital.
∎ Monitoring and evaluating the medical program and the infection control policy regularly and suggesting improvements if needed
∎ Participating in the collection and the analysis of epidemiological data (meetings, reports, articles, etc.) from the projects/ supporting hospital surveys.
∎ Planning and supervising the processes associated to HR and team management (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, motivation, internal/external communication, etc.) of the staff under his/her responsibility, in order to improve staff capabilities and ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required
∎ Ensuring briefings and debriefings of the (para) medical team members
∎ Coaching and training the project teams on MSF values and ethics, ensuring their capability to achieve MSF quality standards Visiting the project sites on a regular basis ensuring that protocols and guidelines are being implemented and followed
∎ Participating in project explorations to assess healthcare care needs.
∎ Assist the PMR/HD in the annual planning process
∎ Representation of MSF with MoH and other health partners in the field
∎ Assisting PMR/HD in pharmacy management and international medical orders
∎ Assisting in defining and implementing the staff health and security policies in order to ensure its overall safety Depending on needs, replace the key hospital management position during the gap.
∎ Assist HD in managing tasks related quality improvement (MSFAT, SIPCA), referrals, hospital feedback mechanisms (complaint pathway).
∎ Responsible for staff (NS/IS) vaccination who come to KTP for vaccination
∎ Assist HD or PC with authorities/press/external visitor who visit the hospital following our SOP
∎ Assist the HD/PC support/PC in building external relations with other actors ( international NGOs and especially local actors)
∎ Follow up visits to referral hospitals or to strengthen external relationship with other actors.
∎ Assist in health coordination meetings organized by MOH
∎ Participate/lead in several meetings within the hospital (medical meeting, hospital management team meeting, HMT-PMT)
∎ Support HD in checking medical bills regarding staff health or referrals.
∎ Participate in annual planning and mid year review, international medical orders
∎ Supervise in collaboration with HD the Data and pharmacy team. Support other hospital management team members when needed. (HCL, Head nurse, hospital facilities members)
∎ Participate in supporting staff with learning and development, ensure staff is informed about training possibilities internal and external (other OC’s, other actors, MOH)
∎ Assist in close collaboration with logistical team of the hospital regarding improvement plans/lay-out hospital, construction needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 59 years
∎ Essential - 1 year least of clinical experience (hospital support or correlated) combined with 1 year least managerial experience
∎ Desirable: MSF Hospital Setting experience; Management specialization/training and experience
Salary:
∎ Tk. 150000 - 180000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to eleven (11) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 150000 gross). 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents
