Minimum 5 years experience in a senior role managing card business, payments, or digital banking
Strong hands-on experience in credit/debit card operations, acquiring business, and card risk management
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability
In-depth knowledge of card operations, payment systems, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
High level of integrity, risk awareness, and customer focus
Responsibilities & Context:
Formulate and execute card business strategy aligned with the Bank’s overall objectives
Oversee issuance, acquiring, authorization, settlement, and reconciliation of card products
Manage relationships with card schemes (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), processors, and vendors
Ensure profitability, portfolio growth, and cost efficiency of the card business
Strengthen fraud prevention, dispute management, and risk control mechanisms
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines and internal policies
Drive digital payment initiatives and innovative card-based products
Monitor card MIS, performance analytics, and regulatory reporting
Lead, mentor, and develop the Card Division team
