Job Responsibilities:
∎ To report to the Head of Sales and Marketing and Top Management
∎ To prepare a budget plan of the year keeping in view the competitor's stand point in the pharma market.
∎ To get approval of the budget designed for the year and to get all necessary support and assistance from the Management of the company in order to achieve the objective.
∎ To prepare the market plan aiming at ascertaining further market share according to the strategic plan through well trained marketing people.
∎ To organize the marketing people and to make an arrangement for developing and auditing of the field forces through the mid management personnel.
∎ To plan for manpower expansion in the field of Sales & Marketing such as recruiting, hiring and orienting of the personnel to the job.
∎ To set particular sales goals and workload objectives for each field force through their respective leader and to assign specific sales objectives in order to surpass the target.
∎ To assist the mid management in developing their territory work plan which assures good rapport with potential customers.
∎ To make promotional aids available with the Product Management Department.
∎ To monitor the Marketing Services Department for timely supply of promotional materials to the field forces.
∎ To ensure Training Programs of the field forces in product knowledge, knowledge of competitors' activities, sales techniques, company's policies etc. in class room session as well as on the job training and to evaluate the trainee's advancement.
∎ To monitor the activities of the field personnel through frequent field visits, sales meetings and written communication as and when necessary.
∎ A scientific and authentic monitoring network needs to be developed for overall monitoring of the field activities.
∎ To keep abreast of updated information of production, distribution and customer services.
∎ To forecast monthly sales program ahead of current month to the production people to make the necessary planning to meet the needs of the sales department.
∎ To organize the marketing meeting at Head Office once a month comprising of the key management personnel and Sr. Marketing Executives.
∎ To arrange the quarterly conference at Head Office comprising of all team leaders to evaluate the present marketing approach and to set up further strategy in achieving the objective.
∎ To give input to PMD for preparing an 'Action Plan' for each quarter that will be followed by each representative throughout the quarter.
∎ To ensure that the reply of any technical or any relevant queries is provided by the Head Office in proper time to the field forces.
∎ To generate team spirit among all field personnel, mid management personnel and depot personnel and other related departments through events, like picnic, social gathering, indoor and out door games etc. so that inter personnel relationship can help in achieving the total objective set for the year.
∎ To monitor closely the Senior Executives regarding progress of work and sales achievement.
∎ To get the total work done by all concerned personnel in a cost effective manner. That is, to keep the marketing and distribution expenditure at a reasonable level.
∎ To suggest introduction of new items as per market need with justification.
∎ To collect the quarterly checklist of the field forces through their respective team leaders and to make the rating arrangement of leaders quarterly.
∎ To recommend promotion, transfer and leave sanctions of the field personnel and in house marketing department.
∎ To keep himself up-dated with competitor's different approaches and any other programs related to the drug policies or administration or any seminar / symposia organized by the doctors through participation in the programs as and when situation demands or by suitable communication.
∎ To maintain an acceptable status in overall activities and movement so that the image of the company becomes brightened among all classes of customers, professional people and worthy people of the society.
∎ To make some programs like seminar, symposium, campaign and publicity events through the electronic media so that company's image can be enhanced.
∎ To monitor outstanding amount in market.
