Job Context:
∎ SAJIDA Hospital is modern, multidisciplinary secondary care hospitals in Keraniganj and Narayanganj strive to make quality medical health care inclusive and affordable for all income groups. It focused on health interventions particularly on the provision of hospital-based clinical care due to the fact that a vast majority of people in Bangladesh face barriers to accessing quality hospital-based care, resulting in thousands of deaths every year from preventable causes.
∎ FUNCTION (MAIN ROLE)*: Ensure smooth operation of hospital activities with special emphasis on supervising clinical staff, monitoring availability of logistic support and services.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review existing practices and performances including trend of client flow of the hospital, identify gaps and areas need improvement, identify innovative strategies, prepare action plan and implement accordingly to increase client flow,
∎ Provide supportive supervision at different layers of staff as per organogram, prepare job description of staff and ensure accountability and transparency towards the designated tasks and responsibilities of individual staff,
∎ Coordinate with clinical staff and ensure the quality of care by monitoring duty roster and ensure 24/7 services to patients by engaging appropriate service provider,
∎ Ensure timely and urgent procurement, supply of logistics and repair, maintenance works, continuous power and water supply and safety issues,
∎ Monitor team environment and ensure conductive environment in the team of hospital in consultation with the supervisor,
∎ Mitigate & manage crisis,
∎ Identify vacant position for recruitment and additional or below performance manpower for retrenchment.
∎ Ensure collection of performance data and information and prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly software based performance report,
∎ Maintain relationship with local influential people, local organizations, Govt. office through respective support staff,
∎ Monitor timely renewal of licenses from the government regulatory bodies,
∎ Update supervisor daily on the status of administrative and financial matters,
∎ Prepare SOP and protocol for clinical activities,
∎ Provide support in implementing HIS new software,
∎ Provide support to staff for implementing branding marketing activities,
∎ Provide support to staff for maintaining quality of drugs in the pharmacy, increasing sale and negotiating with Pharma co. for reduced price,
∎ Identify training needs of the staff and take initiative to arrange need based training,
∎ Attend periodic meetings at head office and hospitals/Institutes, and
∎ Carry out any other relevant activities as and when necessary as per instruction of the Supervisor.
