Bitopi Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of Deputy General Manager (HoD) – Engineering & Services at its Head Office. This leadership position will oversee engineering operations, utilities, maintenance, and support services across all manufacturing units. The role is critical to driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and implementing sustainable engineering practices aligned with Bitopi’s vision of innovation and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead factory expansion, renovation, and execution of new projects.
• Review and approve layouts, engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure timely project completion within defined scope, budget, and compliance standards.
• Prepare structural designs and design analysis reports for projects.
• Develop tentative budgets to support financial feasibility studies and fund arrangements.
• Control utility budgets and optimize resource utilization across facilities.
• Manage vendors, service providers, and contractors for engineering and utility services.
• Coordinate with production, compliance, HR, procurement, and management teams to align engineering support with business needs.
• Maintain proper documentation, verify supplier technical data, drawings, and bills.
• Monitor construction and maintenance work, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Raise material requisitions and oversee in-house carpenters and welders for timely task completion.
